School, Gym, and Dance Central 3

I know there hasn’t been much activity on this blog from my end. School started three weeks ago and I’ve been doing my best to stay on top. Despite my continuing success in school, I did momentarily doubt myself. I’m feeling a lot better about my career choices and I aspire to be highly successful. I began writing a short story last night. I’ve got a few pages down and maybe it’ll get somewhere if I stay diligent. It’s a coming of age story and I guess it’ll probably appeal to younger adults or even teens. I just wanted to write that’s all. I know my writing is damn good but people will never know if I don’t write. I used to write often, but I’ve stopped doing many things these days such as baking, hosting, painting, etc.

I’m taking six classes at the moment with one half-term class and five full-terms. I just got through my midterm on the half-term class and I look forward to getting all A’s this semester. I don’t feel late anymore because there are plenty of people who started school at the same time I did, and they’ll graduate this year. I can’t say that their grades look that good though.

I have so many projects in my head, If I could, I’d hire someone to type for me. Typing is so tedious especially when you’re the type of person who has to change every error as you go.

Peter and I signed up for our gym memberships at Planet Fitness. I used to workout there about three years ago and I am glad that I am back. I didn’t have a great experience with the other location due to cancellation issues but I really do like this one. It’s busy though around the time that we’re able to go. We started last Saturday, missed Monday so we went on Tuesday, missed Wednesday because of the tornado watch, and we’re going tonight. I usually hate it when my schedule gets thrown off because I have Dance Central days on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays for another class. Also, there was a classmate in one of my classes who said Planet Fitness is a waste of money and that it smells funny. That place is full of sweaty people working out, what was it supposed to smell like? Plus, if $10-20 is too much, then you probably couldn’t afford the gym anyway considering the cost of other gyms. I absolutely hate working out at home or outside so I resort to the gym (unless it Dance Central).

I’ve been relaxing and kind of bored this week since I finished all of my assignments on the day the new week began. I just have to make sure I keep writing the short story.

Here is a cluster of this week’s photos:

I’ll try my best to post as much as I workout every week! :)

New Nail Color

Well, it’s not technically new because this color debuted in 2009 but it’s so popular that it still gets its own display section at the retailer. It’s Essie’s Mint Candy Apple!

I think the color is very unique because it’s a color you’d find coating an M&M. Mint Candy Apple looks like a cousin of the Tiffany Blue but it’s also quite green, almost seafoam.

So sorry about my cuticles. My cuticle cream has been missing for a few days and I don’t like to cut them. I was so anxious to paint my nails that I forgot I had taken my inhaler and as a side effect, it made my hands shake so much. I paint really well but nothing can help a shaky hand. In case you didn’t know that, using your inhaler helps with breathing problems from asthma, but it gives you the shakes.

I also got Essie’s “Good to Go” Rapid Dry Top Coat because I could not find a bottle of Seche Vite anywhere at Target so I had to settle.

Each Essie product (the nail polish and the top coat) priced at $7.79 although $8 per bottle is the standard. Have a good night and thank you for all of your support today. I’m hoping to write a few more reviews before school starts.

UPDATE: Never mind, school has started … not officially but my classes’ assignments have been posted. Classes will start on Monday, January 7th. So I’ll try to keep the blog posts coming even though school is my top priority. Night everyone!
