Sleep Deprived … Again

Just when things seem to be getting better, I’m once again going through my insomnia phase. When will it ever end?

So the Microsoft store opened on Friday and the American Idol finalists (did it end already?) dropped by Lenox Mall yesterday for a meet-and-greet followed by a performance in the parking lot. I’m pretty sure I would’ve gone but it just doesn’t feel right taking advantage of that kind of exclusivity when I don’t even follow American Idol (as you may have probably guessed).

I pretty much stayed at home and proceeded to manually shred stacks of paper bills while watching Cake Boss. Speaking

of Cake Boss, why haven’t I heard of it sooner? I mean, I have seen the ads around town, but I never thought much about it. Turns out it’s been running on TLC for a few good seasons and each episode is a treat despite them being only twentyish minutes long each.

And it’s also strange that the week I discover Cake Boss, I’d actually signed up for cake decorating classes prior. The classes are so cheap and affordable at Michael’s, the local arts and crafts store down the street from where I live. I bake avidly and I’ve never had any professional training so I’m excited to start the classes. I haven’t baked much since I moved to this apartment but I hope to be doing so soon, especially when I move into the new 2000 sq. foot 2 bedroom apartment a week or two from now. My kitchen-to-be will actually resemble a real kitchen and less like a closet like the current one now. So I’m super pumped about everything now and I’m hoping for the best in the next few weeks. I can’t wait to post tons of photos on the cake decorating class and videos of the renovated apartment.

But for now, hopefully I can fall asleep soon enough.

Note: Here’s the links for the Wilton Cake Decorating classes in case anyone wants to find a class nearby to start decorating, too!

Making Money On eBay & On Getting Married

Nothing much so far although I’ve been a bit preoccupied with ebay. No, I didn’t just discover it but I’m excited that I’ve made some progress in cashing in a few products. I’ve tried endlessly to sell my old HTC Droid Incredible through craigslist.org and the local classified section of a few newspaper website, but it was eBay that brought in results. I admit, I’m pretty new at this and I definitely hate to sell my things, but hey: money is money. You can’t really beat that.

Yay, it's sold!!!

Now, what else can I get rid of … ?

Another thing! I got married this past Friday.

Well, I’m not having my ceremony any time soon but the whole legal process has been completed. Just four more weeks before we’re able to pick up our wedding license at the courthouse. Getting married is pretty easy just not all the things that come after the event such as name changes and etc. I definitely don’t feel any different and Pete’s said the same thing.
